The most prestigious model in the Oyster collection is the Day-Date, which displays the date and the day of the week. It is availaible exclusively in yellow, pink or white gold or in platinum. 

The Day Date earned the nickname the "President" when Rolex reportedly gave one to the then President of the United States Dwight Eisenhower. 

Other U.S. Presidents wore the model as well, including John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, and Gerald Ford. While the name "President" stuck in the U.S., in Europe this model is known only by its original name of Day-Date.
